I’m a consultant and writer working nationally and internationally from my base in beautiful southern Tasmania. I am fortunate to have a career that connects me with interesting people and ideas locally, on mainland Australia and across the world.
I have enjoyed leading broad reaching national grant and support programs such as ArtStart and Jump Mentoring for the Australia Council; leaving lasting generational change and connecting the education, arts and government sectors.
I’ve also enjoyed working on a micro level; implementing granting structures, permanent and ephemeral public artworks for Marrickville Council and creating the governance, artistic and organisational structure for Platform Youth Theatre with Darebin City Council.
I am respected for my creative leadership roles and partnership development in multi art form contexts with companies such as Melbourne Fringe and Legs on the Wall.
I have toured and produced sold out performances across three continents and I am passionate about audience development and fostering the sustainability and resilience of individuals and organisations.
I have been recognised for innovative marketing and communication strategies and enjoy working with and understanding new communities.
One of my biggest assets as a consultant is my contemporary first hand understanding of the issues facing the creative and not for profit sectors. Coupled with the academic rigour of a BA Hons in Communication from Charles Sturt University, I marry facts and pragmatism with big picture thinking and ideas.
